We started with ChannelStrip 2; a plug-in that's been used on countless hits and soundtracks with a fourteen year pedigree. Then we made it better, incorporating user feedback. Now we're proud to release ChannelStrip 3 for Pro Tools 10 and 11 for Macintosh and Windows, as well as Mac Audio Units.
Notable features include:

- Now includes a limiter, making ChannelStrip 3 a single plug-in master bus solution

Versions
ChannelStrip 3 is available in two versions. They are all functionally identical but differ in price, the hosts they will run on and available technical support. The versions are:
GarageBand
- ChannelStrip 3 for GarageBand will only run within GarageBand. Although ChannelStrip 3 for GarageBand is an Audio Unit it will only run in demo mode under other hosts. If you decide that you would like to use ChannelStrip 3 in other Audio Unit hosts, you may upgrade to the full version of ChannelStrip 3 as explained below. Any settings that you create using ChannelStrip 3 for GarageBand can be loaded into ChannelStrip AU.
- ChannelStrip for GarageBand only includes online support. Telephone support for this product is unbundled and will require purchase of a support incident. As with all of our products, bug-fix and compatibility releases are available for free online.
- The copy protection used for ChannelStrip 3 for GarageBand locks the software to a single computer; you may not move it between machines.
AU/AAX
- This version will run on any host that supports AU plug-ins on a Macintosh (32 and 64 bit support) and AAX plug-ins on Pro Tools 10 for Mac and Windows.
- This version uses iLok copy protection, so it may easily be used on multiple machines.
- This version includes telephone and online support, as well as bug-fix and compatibility releases are available for free online.
Upgrades
Metric Halo makes it easy to upgrade between versions of ChannelStrip:
- GarageBand to ChannelStrip 3 AU/AAX: $150
- Native/TDM to AU/AAX: $49
