McCartney recording sessions book, just published, details 44 years of music

Paul McCartney showed us that he is like a fine wine rock star that only gets better with age. As daughter Stella McCartney and his grandchildren looked on he rocked the crowd in Central London with songs from his "New" album.

Italian journalist Luca Perasi told Beatles Examiner Dec. 4 his long-awaited book on Paul McCartney's recording sessions that covers all forty-plus years of his solo career has just been published.
“Paul McCartney: Recording Sessions (1969-2013): A journey through Paul McCartney's Songs after The Beatles,” available through Amazon.co.uk, features the stories behind all of Paul McCartney’s solo career songs in chronological order of recording, from “McCartney” to “NEW” with recording dates, studios and “who played what” on each song, according to a description.
Perasi says the book includes over 70 exclusive interviews, including musicians, arrangers, producers and collaborators who worked with McCartney through the years and features a song-by-song presentation of 383 songs officially released by McCartney during his solo career.
Some of those included in the book are Carlos Alomar, Neil Dorfsman, Greg Hawkes, Steve Holley, Gordon Hunt, Carl Davis, Richard Hewson, Laurence Juber, Steve Lyon, Jerry Marotta, Dave Mattacks, Dave Matthews, Alan O’Duffy, Lance Phillips, David Rhodes, Denny Seiwell, Mike Vickers, Graham Ward, Stephen Wick, Ernie Winfrey and Bill Wolfer.
